FreightLens started with a simple observation: freight forwarders, NVOCCs, and importers were spending enormous time chasing shipment status across carrier portals, emails, and spreadsheets — when that data should have been coming to them automatically.
We built what we wished existed: a single platform with direct carrier API connections that puts every team member on the same page, without the complexity or cost of enterprise systems. FreightLens is developed and operated by Alpha One Consulting, Inc., a New Jersey-based supply chain technology firm.

Girish Khemchandani
With more than two decades spanning manufacturing, ERP systems, ocean freight operations, eCommerce, and SaaS platforms, Girish combines deep technical expertise with a practical understanding of how freight businesses actually operate. A CargoWise Certified Professional, his background includes designing supply chain integrations across EDI (X12/EDIFACT), REST APIs, and carrier systems — serving 3PLs, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, importers, and manufacturers across North America and Latin America.
FreightLens reflects his conviction that the SMB segment of the ocean freight market deserves direct carrier API integrations and real-time visibility — without the cost and complexity that has historically locked those capabilities behind enterprise pricing.
